I live and shoot in the mountains of Western North
Carolina. My father taught me a love of photography, which I have nurtured since I got
my first SLR, a Pentax MX with a 50mm normal lens, for my 13th birthday. I learned to
develop my own black and whites, shot for the high school yearbook, shot for the high school
yearbook, shot for the Ninety Six Star, shot for myself and friends. While I love the instant gratification and amazing control of digital photography, and wouldn't trade my Nikon D750 or my Canon G10, I hope to get back to the darkroom someday to watch that next image emerge in the silver bath.
